Beginning at a young age, I had a natural inclination to serve people. I was inspired by people who would allocate their time and resources to meet the needs of others. While most of our younger years are spent playing in the dirt, climbing trees, and giving our parents a headache, I always found myself assisting in any way that I could.
Sure, I enjoyed playing outside and spending time with friends, but there was something far more enjoyable about getting to serve others and help out.
As I got older, I started asking myself more purpose driven questions. When I got to high school, I was attracted to the idea of getting involved with Law Enforcement. When I graduated, I made the decision to pursue a career as a Highway Patrol Officer. I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from Fresno State.
After a long and rigorous journey at the Highway Patrol academy I became a peace officer. The academy taught a lot about core values such as INTEGRITY, HONESTY and RESPECT. I took pride in upholding these core values, and I believe that fueled my success as a Highway Patrol officer.
I enjoyed my career as a peace officer, protecting society by making sure criminals were locked up. However, I wanted to explore other opportunities to serve in a meaningful way. With the time I spent as a peace officer, I learned that financial hardship was something many families had a hard time dealing with. Especially when there was an added grief that involved dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Seeing this need is what led me to the Insurance Industry. Nothing brings me greater joy than helping people to get in a better financial situation when it seems as though their world has been turned upside down. To me, that is what purpose is. Being able to assist a client and help alleviate some of the pain and burden that comes with uncertainties and tragedies.
I will always strive to uphold the core principles I learned in Law Enforcement: Integrity, Honesty, and Respect. I believe to do this is to serve my clients to the best of my ability. It is fulfilling to know that the people I get to meet and the families I get to serve can feel the love and passion I have for what I do.
I am grateful for every opportunity I have to be of service. It is my ongoing desire to do the same for you and your loved ones.
